The State Government’s Ministry of Culture invites the general public to take advantage of free admission on Wednesdays at various cultural venues in the city of San Luis Potosí, with the aim of promoting access to culture, art, and historical heritage among the population.
Among the venues participating in this initiative are the Jesús García Corona Railway Museum, the Francisco Cossío Museum, the San Luis Potosí Arts Center, the Leonora Carrington Museum San Luis Potosí, and the Museum of Contemporary Art SLP (MAC SLP), all of which open their doors free of charge so that visitors can explore their exhibitions, collections, historic buildings, and open spaces.
The free admission hours on Wednesdays are as follows: Jesús García Corona Railway Museum, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Francisco Cossío Museum, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; The San Luis Potosí Arts Center and the Leonora Carrington Museum in San Luis Potosí will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with last entry at 5:15 p.m.; and the Museum of Contemporary Art SLP will be open from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
This initiative aims to offer families, students, and the general public an alternative way to enjoy their free time, explore the state’s cultural offerings, and strengthen the community’s connection with cultural spaces.
