This Saturday, February 14th, starting at 6:00 PM, the First Grand Parade of the 2026 Veracruz Carnival will kick off its festivities, with a route beginning in Boca del Río and ending in the port of Veracruz.
It’s worth noting that the event is characterized by a combination of percussion groups, floats, and dance troupes that offer a spectacular show for locals and tourists alike.
At the same time, a Reggaeton Mexican concert will take place in the Macroplaza on the Malecón (boardwalk). Organizers have announced that these events are free but have limited capacity, so they encourage the public to arrive early and follow safety instructions.
In this way, Veracruz aims to strengthen its festive tradition, boost tourism, and solidify the Carnival as one of the most important cultural and economic events in the country.
