Governor Mauricio Kuri reported that a section of State Highway 100, built some time ago by the federal government, is in serious disrepair.
Therefore, they have requested federal assistance with this infrastructure, located near the Bernal Bypass in the municipality of Ezequiel Montes.
“Right now, there’s a section of Highway 100 that concerns us greatly, a section built by the federal government four or five years ago, and it has a serious problem. This is our biggest concern regarding infrastructure. We will be speaking with the federal government about this section so they can review it.”
He stated that they have sent documents to the federal government requesting their attention to this section, which is causing problems and risks for users, but have received no response.
“We were reviewing it. First, we need the federal government to support us, as they said, with the municipal roads, and then Federal Highways 120 and 69, which are very important, but my number one concern, let’s say, is highway 100, which the federal government built and which, from our point of view, has some problems.”
