A photograph circulating on social media shows a young woman posing with a weapon restricted to military use. Several accounts dedicated to monitoring organized crime indicate—without official confirmation—that the young woman is the daughter of Heraclio Guerrero Martínez, alias “El Tío Lako,” identified by authorities as a regional operator for the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) in Michoacán.

In the image, the alleged daughter of “El Tío Lako” is seen wearing striking makeup, dressed for a party, a gold chain, and skeleton-patterned gloves. The image was reportedly shared from an Instagram account, and includes the location “Tinaja de Vargas” and the text “My girl.”

It is noteworthy that the young woman is carrying a CX-05 carbine, the compact variant of the FX-05 Xiuhcóatl rifle, a weapon designed for the exclusive use of the Mexican Armed Forces.

This type of weapon is manufactured in Mexico for the exclusive use of the Armed Forces and cannot be legally acquired by civilians, raising questions about its origin, since civilian access to these weapons is often linked to diversion, theft, or illegal trafficking.

The FX-05 Xiuhcóatl (“Fire Serpent” in Nahuatl) was officially introduced in 2006 to replace imported models and meets the tactical requirements of the Mexican Army.

The CX-05 variant, with a 39 cm barrel, facilitates its use in urban environments or by special forces.

The weapon features an internal system to improve its performance, a barrel with special grooves that increase accuracy, an adjustable stock, and durable plastic magazines that allow the bullets inside to be visible.

Heraclio Guerrero Martínez, known as “El Tío Lako,” is identified by Mexican authorities as one of the CJNG’s top lieutenants in the western region of the country, with particular influence in the border area between Michoacán and Jalisco.

His name is among the candidates to succeed “El Mencho,” the criminal organization’s top leader.

“El Tío Lako’s” rise within the CJNG occurred after the murder of his brother, Javier Guerrero Martínez, who was a close friend of “El Mencho.” Since then, Heraclio Guerrero has assumed leadership of the armed group “Los Guerreros,” a cell with a presence in Tinaja de Vargas, considered a base of operations for smuggling, drug trafficking, extortion, and kidnapping.

Guerrero Martínez is considered one of Oseguera Cervantes’s most trusted men and a strategic partner of Ricardo Ruiz Velasco, alias “El Doble R,” another of the cartel’s visible leaders and head of its elite group.

His notoriety grew after several clashes and armed attacks in the states of Jalisco and Michoacán, particularly after March 2025, following an ambush on federal and state forces.

“El Tío Lako” has been linked to ostentatious displays of wealth. In September 2023, his daughter celebrated her quinceañera with a lavish party that drew attention for its extravagance and security measures.

The event included performances by renowned artists such as Julión Álvarez, Pancho Barraza, Alfredo Olivas, Los Sebastianes, Los Alegres del Barranco, and comedian Teo González. There were fireworks, a drone show that spelled out the name “Nicole” in the sky, and gifts including a pink Mercedes-Benz SUV and a Razer off-road vehicle. The celebration was guarded by armed men wearing vests with the initials “CJNG.”

Just a few weeks ago, armed civilians working for “El Tío Lako” handed out gifts for Three Kings Day in Tinaja de Vargas.
