NASCAR MEXICO announced today, with the presence of Commander R.A.M.C., Division General P.A.E.M., Alfonso Rodríguez Sierra; Director of Tourism Policy, representing Federal Tourism, Lic. Alfonso Ballesteros Méndez; Commander of R.A.M. No. 1, Wing General P.A.E.M. José Antonio Sierra Amador; Director of FAMEX, Group General E.M. Disraeli Gómez Herrera; Undersecretary of Tourism Promotion and Operations, Northern Zone, Lic. Pablo Vladimir Casas Gómez; Secretary of Tourism of Tulum, Lic. Carla Patricia Andrade Piedras; President of NASCAR Mexico, Jimmy Morales; Representative of OPEMSA, Jaime Velázquez Ramos; and Deputy Manager of Tourism Promotion and Dissemination of the Group. The Mayan World, presented by Ángela Jovana Gaspar López, is a unique event in the history of Mexican sports, where land and air form an unprecedented alliance to bring together the Mexico Aerospace Fair (FAMEX), Airshow Tulum 2026, and NASCAR Mexico and Challenge Series races in Tulum, Quintana Roo, on April 25 and 26.
The event kicks off on April 23 with air shows, and the roar of NASCAR Mexico engines will arrive for the first time at the Felipe Carrillo Puerto International Airport in Tulum on April 25 and 26. This event marks the third race of the 2026 NASCAR Mexico Series season.
NASCAR Mexico is the largest breeding ground for drivers in its NASCAR Mexico Series and Challenge Series divisions, boasting Daniel Suárez of the NASCAR Cup Series as the first graduate of the series to reach the pinnacle of NASCAR in the United States.
It was reported that more than 30,000 people are expected to attend this event and that everything is ready in terms of security, accommodations, and logistics for the event, which runs from April 23 to 25.
Tickets will be available for purchase later through the channels of the Mexico Aerospace Fair (FAMEX).
