A 22-year-old man was arrested by municipal police officers after being caught spray-painting graffiti on a private property and allegedly disturbing the peace in the San Ramón neighborhood of San Cristóbal de Las Casas.
According to the official report, the detainee was identified as Ángel Leonel “N,” who was apprehended on Baja California Street, near the Torre Fuerte church, after being seen painting the facade of a house. Officers arrested him for administrative offenses related to public disturbance and disorderly conduct.
The young man did not provide an address, stating only that he was originally from San Juan Cancuc. He was subsequently turned over to the Examining Magistrate, who will determine the corresponding penalty according to municipal regulations.
