Following the March 11 blackout in Cancún, the mayor of Benito Juárez, Ana Paty Peralta, announced that she will hold a meeting with the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) to discuss actions to strengthen the city’s electricity supply.
The mayor explained that the meeting aims to review the project to install a temporary substation in the Huayacán Avenue area.
She detailed that this infrastructure seeks to address the growing demand for electricity in that sector, where residential development has increased the load on the grid.
