The relocation of investments and the reorganization of supply chains present an opportunity for the country; however, security, legal certainty, energy, and support for competitiveness are essential, stated Beatriz Hernández, president of Coparmex Querétaro, during her renewal for a second term leading the employers’ association.

This statement was made during the Coparmex Querétaro swearing-in ceremony, which was presided over by Governor Mauricio Kuri and Coparmex National President Juan José Sierra Álvarez.

During her speech, the president of Coparmex Querétaro asserted that Mexico has a strategic position for the relocation of companies; however, investments will not materialize simply due to inertia, geography, or location.

“You can’t build on demagoguery; you need the rule of law because where the law is weakened, so are investment, employment, and opportunities. There can be no sustainable development where organized crime replaces the state or where uncertainty stifles the potential of those who want to invest, start businesses, and work,” he stated.

He affirmed that in Querétaro, they are committed to collaborative work between society, government, and the productive sector, which has boosted competitiveness, talent, and business confidence.

He added that the employers’ association assumes its responsibility and promotes citizen participation, as well as pluralism, while working on areas of agreement.

“We are as critical as we are constructive; we point out errors as much as we contribute solutions, and we reject projects based on corruption, demagoguery, or clientelism because they weaken development and harm society,” he emphasized.

Meanwhile, the national president of Coparmex, Juan José Sierra Álvarez, emphasized that the commitment of the Coparmex board symbolizes continuity, responsibility, and civic leadership.

“It reflects the commitment of business owners and workers who believe in business as an engine of development and social justice,” he stressed.

He emphasized that Querétaro is a national benchmark for its capacity to attract investment and technological growth, in addition to its manufacturing vocation.

“This demonstrates that sustained growth arises when there is institutional coordination, legal certainty, and a skilled workforce,” he stated.
