Six women reported missing in Sinaloa in just two days; Amber Alert activated

In just two days, at least six women, including four teenagers, were reported missing in various parts of Sinaloa, prompting the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) to activate search warrants through the Amber Alert and Alba Protocol mechanisms, given the potential risk to their safety.

According to official reports, the disappearances occurred between March 10 and 11, 2026, in the municipalities of Culiacán and Ahome, and there is still no information on the whereabouts of the victims.

Among the cases is that of Libni Yarlett Ayala Sánchez, 26, who was last seen on March 11 at a residence in the Infonavit Barrancos neighborhood of Culiacán. She is approximately 1.62 meters tall, has a slim build, fair complexion, and short, wavy blonde hair. She has several distinctive tattoos, including one with the name “Lucrecia” on her right arm and others with names on her hands and arms.

That same day, the disappearance of 36-year-old Jesús Yesenia Pérez Astorga was also reported. She was last seen in the town of El Diez, in Culiacán. She is approximately 1.60 meters tall, has a robust build, and a scar above her upper lip.

In that same community, the disappearance of 15-year-old Kenia Rosalina Martínez Pérez was also reported. She was last seen on March 11 at her home. She is approximately 1.58 meters tall, has long black hair, and a dark complexion. She has braces, a mole below her lower lip, and tattoos on her hands, including an image of Saint Jude Thaddeus and a cross, as well as a tattoo on her chest with the name “Jessy.”

Another missing teenager is 14-year-old Nicole Alicia Beltrán Núñez, who was last seen on March 11 in the same El Diez area of ​​Culiacán. According to the missing person report, she is 1.60 meters tall, has a slim build, fair complexion, and long, straight red hair.

In the Las Vegas neighborhood, also in the Sinaloa capital, 15-year-old Jade Isabel Contreras Hernández was reported missing. She left her home on March 11 and her whereabouts have been unknown since. She is 1.65 meters tall, has short, straight, ash-blonde hair, and at the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a black blouse with a pink bow on the back, blue pants, gray sneakers with green stripes, and carrying a white backpack.

These cases are in addition to that of 15-year-old Litzy Yorleth Flores Navarrete, reported missing in the municipality of Ahome. According to the missing person report issued by the Attorney General’s Office, the teenager was last seen on March 10 after leaving her home in the town of Alfonso G. Calderón. She was wearing a green blouse, blue pants, and pink sandals.

In all cases, the Sinaloa Attorney General’s Office indicated that the victims’ safety may be at risk, so the corresponding search protocols have been activated, and the public’s assistance is requested to provide any information that could lead to their whereabouts.

Authorities asked that any information that could help locate them be reported to the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Forced Disappearance of Persons, through the numbers 800-890-90-92 and (667) 715-55-88.
