The Quintana Roo State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) reported that the arrests were made on 38th Street North in the city, following investigations that led to the suspects’ location.
One of them was identified as Keendran ‘N’, wanted for his alleged involvement in vehicle theft and complicity in a homicide. The other detainee, Sean ‘N’, faces charges of child sexual assault.
Both were wanted by the 451st Judicial District Court of Kendall County, Texas, where they face legal proceedings for the aforementioned crimes.
After their arrest, they were turned over to the National Institute of Migration, which will handle the procedures for their transfer to the United States.
The Attorney General’s Office stated that the operation was made possible thanks to international cooperation and the exchange of information between law enforcement agencies in both countries, with the goal of locating individuals with outstanding arrest warrants outside their country of origin.
