With the arrival of the FIFA World Cup 2026 in Mexico, several states across the country will hold special events to celebrate the excitement surrounding the tournament.
Querétaro will join the festivities with Zona Fest 2026, a special event designed to immerse visitors in the World Cup atmosphere. Below are the details so you can make the most of this celebration.
What Is Zona Fest?
Mayor Felifer Macías presented Zona Fest alongside Governor Mauricio Kuri with the goal of providing a space where families can enjoy the excitement of the 2026 World Cup.
Its purpose is to offer a safe and welcoming environment where children, teenagers, and adults can enjoy sports and entertainment together.
When Will It Take Place?
The festival will run throughout the six weeks of the World Cup.
Activities will begin on June 11, coinciding with the opening match of the tournament.
The closing ceremony is scheduled for July 19, the date of the World Cup final. On that day, the celebration will conclude with musical performances to mark the end of the football festivities.
What Activities Will Be Available?
Zona Fest will combine the World Cup atmosphere with a wide variety of entertainment options for attendees.
World Cup matches will be broadcast live on giant screens installed throughout the venue.
In addition, there will be concerts by well-known artists and other attractions, including:
- Food and beverage areas
- Activities and interactive experiences for the whole family
- Free QroBus transportation service from Alameda Hidalgo to Estadio Corregidora

Will There Be an Admission Fee?
Admission will require a ticket purchase, although special rates will be available for certain groups. Availability is limited and tickets may sell out depending on the artist performing.
