New public transport buses arrive in Querétaro

15 Mercedes Benz units were allocated for route T04.

The Mobility Agency of the State of Querétaro (AMEQ) announced that, starting this Saturday, November 18, route T04 will have new Mercedes Benz units.

This modernization, the agency detailed, will benefit more than five thousand daily users who travel from Desarrollo Familiar to the Querétaro Bus Terminal (TAQ).

For his part, the general director of the AMEQ, Gerardo Cuanalo Santos, emphasized that T04 is the fifth bus route that is updated with units acquired in the current administration, joining routes T03, T06, T09 and T12 in this renewal initiative.

In addition, he explained that 15 Mercedes Benz units were allocated for the operation of the T04, with the possibility of increasing the fleet according to user demand.

Cuanalo Santos highlighted the importance of this improvement for urban mobility, noting that the new buses will operate in the 5 de Febrero lane once it is open.

Likewise, he reported that socializers have been incorporated on board the units and at strategic points to assist users in acquiring and recharging the Qrobus card, the only means of payment accepted in these units.
