Manuel I.R., alias El Pantera, son of the municipal president of Santiago Jamiltepec, Cecilia Rivas Márquez, was detained by elements of the National Guard and Ministerial Investigation Police when he was investigated for different crimes in the coastal area and being involved in crimes of organized crime.
The National Registry of Detentions has confirmed that Manuel I.R., alias El Pantera, was detained on federal highway 200, in the town of Emiliano Zapata and transferred to the Ciudad Judicial facilities in Reyes Mantecón, San Bartolo Coyotepec.
