Don’t know where to go to buy your basic basket? The Federal Consumer Prosecutor’s Office (Profeco) revealed which supermarket in Querétaro where these essential products are sold cheaper.
During the morning press conference of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, known as ‘La Mañanera’, the head of Profeco, David Aguilar Romero, revealed “Who is who in essential products.”
In the section Commercial establishments with the highest and lowest prices per basket in the central area of Mexico, he pointed out that the most expensive supermarket is Mega Soriana Tacuba, in the Miguel Hidalgo neighborhood in Mexico City, with a cost of $1019.70 pesos .
While the cost of these basic basket products is lowest, you can find them at Chedraui in the Flores Magón neighborhood, in Cuernavaca Morelos, with a price of only $763.60 pesos.
It should be noted that these prices were taken the week of November 27 to December 1, so they may change in the following weeks.

The next time that Profeco announces which establishments have the cheapest and most expensive basic basket, it will be the following Monday during the morning conference.
Likewise, that the central zone of Mexico refers to the states of Mexico City, State of Mexico, Guanajuato, Hidalgo, Morelos, Puebla, Querétaro and Tlaxcala.

With respect to Querétaro, Aguilar Romero from Profeco pointed out that the commercial establishment with the cheapest basic basket is Bodega Aurrera in the Mercurio neighborhood, in the state capital, with a cost of $830.90 pesos.
