Social media users described the action as an altruistic gesture

This is not the first time that these actions have been carried out, since months ago food supplies were also delivered to needy families in various locations in Sinaloa.

Low-income boys and girls in Sinaloa received toys marked with the initials ‘JGL’, suggesting a possible connection with Joaquín Guzmán Loera, currently imprisoned in a United States prison.

According to Grupo Formula correspondent Felicitos Trujillo, around a thousand toys were given to children from Culiacán and Navolato during the afternoon of Thursday, December 14.

Images of the distribution of the toys to minors in the aforementioned municipalities were spread on social networks, in addition to children admitted to the Pediatric Hospital of Culiacán, a fact that was well received by Internet users, who saw it as an altruistic gesture towards the most vulnerable sectors in society.

It is worth mentioning that this is not the first time that these actions have been carried out, since months ago food supplies were also delivered to needy families in various locations in Sinaloa, also marked with the initials ‘JGL’.

These gestures of “altruism” have become a ‘tradition’, since during the Christmas festivities, Three Kings’ Day and Mother’s Day, members of criminal groups deliver aid and gifts to the inhabitants of the regions where they operate.
