The Secretariat of Works and Services (Sobse) reported that, due to the execution of the second phase of the Interurban Train “El Insurgente”, from 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 8, the closure to the circulation of kilometers 24 to 33 of the Mexico-Toluca Highway will be carried out, so it is recommended to use the Federal Highway as an alternative route.
The capital dependency indicated that the works that will be carried out correspond to the installation of the fifth and last piece of the latticework 1; a metal structure of 253 tons and 48 meters in length that will give continuity to the elevated viaduct.
The Sobse thanked the understanding of those who live and transit in the area, while inviting them to take precautions and alternative routes, as well as to stay informed in the official accounts of the social networks of @SobseCDMX.
The closure will be from kilometers 24 to 33 due to the works of the second phase of the Train “El Insurgente”. It starts on Sunday at 8:00 p.m.
