The Park Hyatt brand will open its second hotel in the Caribbean-Mexico region at the end of this year 2023: the new Park Hyatt Los Cabos at Cabo del Sol resort.
Thus, it is expected that the new property will open its doors by the end of 2024, according to Hyatt Hotels.
The complex, located on the beachfront, will be a combination of rooms and suites, some with private pools, along with a collection of villas.
The property will include 163 rooms, 88 of which will be suites, in addition to a spa, five pools, a gym and five gastronomic concepts, including the exclusive Mediterranean-focused restaurant.
For Mark Vondrasek, Hyatt’s commercial director, ‘our continuous and determined growth in the next year will follow a knowledge-based approach, focused on listening to our guests, customers and World of Hyatt members and their evolving travel needs, such as a growing desire for immersive and distinct experiences that prioritize well-being’.
Los Cabos, in Mexico, has experienced rapid growth as a travel destination in recent years, particularly in the luxury sector, which includes the recent entry of new brands, such as Marriott’s Luxury Collection, Nobu and Tapestry Collection by Hilton; the latter will open a hotel at the beginning of this year.
