Businessmen seek participation of all businesses for Spring Break Los Cabos

More than 35 thousand students are estimated to arrive at the destination between March and April.

In an interview with media, Robbin Hernández, president of the Association of Professionals and Business Leaders of Los Cabos, said that local companies are in the midst of preparations for Spring Break 2024, where they will seek the participation of most of the local businesses.

After a year-end closure with a 30 percent decrease in occupancy, within the bars and nightclubs of the nightlife in Cabo San Lucas, they expect a rebound in sales for the March – April season, with the arrival of vacationing students, who at the moment, it is already known that they will be more than 35 thousand.

Hernández expressed that “For Spring Break we are rebounding and making agreements for all the bars, restaurants and nightclubs in the zero zone of Cabo San Lucas to participate, we work on taking care of the image, we are organizing the protocol issue and next week we have a meeting with the authorities for new manuals where we expect so far 35 thousand students”.

He clarified that it would be approximately the same volume of students that was received last season, however, they consider that together with Easter and the Cabo Night Festival, sales will be on the rise during that period.

“Of course we seek to grow, but it is gradually, we also need rooms. We grow slower but exponentially we are the most expensive destination in Mexico for Spring Break, above 20 percent that Cancun, speaking for packages that go up to 3 thousand dollars”

Robbin added that on this occasion, they also seek to promote activities with tours during the day and even family experiences, in addition to what has already been traditionally prepared for nightlife.
