Los Cabos, Baja California Sur.- During the next few days, the citizens of Cabo San Lucas will have various artistic-cultural presentations to enjoy with the family, which were programmed through the Institute of Culture and the Arts of the Municipality of Los Cabos ( ICA); The first of them is “Dreams of Pimpolina: Humor without words”, which is a scenic proposal of pantomime, clown technique and comedy, authored by Andrea Christiansen, with the participation of Rafael Juárez.
This event will have 2 functions at no cost, tomorrow, Saturday, May 4 at 7:00 in the afternoon in the public square “León Cota Collins” and on Sunday, May 5 at 9:00 in the morning during the Ciclovía Recreativa .
“Dreams of Pimpolina” is a circus routine that addresses current issues such as gender violence, authoritarianism, arbitrariness, freedom and the right to dream, through the performance of various musical instruments, between a character who prohibits and another looks for a thousand and one ways to be free.
On the other hand, to stimulate different artistic practices, the Municipal Government, in coordination with Mina Academia and The Best Choyeros, will develop the urban dance convention called “Mangoneada 2.0”, where the best teachers of urban rhythms will be presented. in Los Cabos, to be held on May 18 and 19 at the facilities of the Cultural Pavilion of the Republic “Nabor García Aguirre”.
The program includes the Mentorship workshop by Pau Pulido that will take place from 10:30 in the morning to 12:30 in the morning, as well as a Workshop and Cypher by Melissa Morán and Jorge Herrera from 01:00 to 04:00 in the afternoon.
