Los Cabos beaches, some of the most beautiful in Mexico, have ‘Blue Flag’. This season, inspectors verify standards on Cabo San Lucas beaches to certify them.
LOS CABOS, Baja California Sur.- The beaches of Los Cabos are considered among the most beautiful in Mexico due to their crystal clear waters and spectacular sunsets. In addition, they have had the ‘Blue Flag’ certification for a couple of years. This season, inspectors from this program began verification tours of the standards on beaches in Cabo San Lucas, with the objective of reviewing and certifying the beaches that continue to comply with the standards of this national program.
The ZOFEMAT Coordinator in Cabo San Lucas, Manuel Cota Ávila, mentioned that the reviews are beginning to be carried out on the beaches of Villas del Arco, which will last until the 15th-17th.

What is Blue Flag certification?

The Municipality of Los Cabos has 22 certified beaches that seek to maintain the standards to preserve the Blue Flag through this verification. Among the notable beaches are:
