Querétaro, special guest at Mexico Week in Chicago

QUERÉTARO, Qro., May 9, 2024.- Mexico Week in Chicago, Illinois, is an event where Querétaro is the special guest.

This meeting, which takes place from May 3 to 12, aims to promote the entity’s tourist attractions in the North American market. The inauguration was chaired by the Consul General of Mexico in Chicago, Reyna Torres Mendívil, and more than 35 thousand people are expected to attend in places such as Navy Pier and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago.

Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy the gastronomy, wines, and cheese of Querétaro, as well as explore wine tourism, crafts, and the famous Lelé doll, which is a tourist ambassador of the state. The Tzuco restaurant, by Michelin chef Carlos Gaytán, will highlight dishes from Querétaro such as short rib with beet mole and chickpea hummus, under the coordination of chef Israel Soriano. The event also includes the presence of more than 50 travel agencies and media, as well as wine tastings with members of the Global Economic, where high-quality Mexican wines were presented. In addition, craft markets and events such as Wine Testing at the Colores Mexicanos store stand out. Mexico Week in Chicago not only offers a cultural experience, but also opportunities to strengthen the tourism promotion of Querétaro to travel agencies and airlines.
