They claim that since the early hours of last Monday they have not had electricity and so far, the CFE has not resolved the problem

Mérida, Yucatán.- This Friday, residents of the Nueva Kukulcán neighborhood blocked Circuito Colonias avenue to demand that the CFE restore electricity.
Francisco Miranda Solís, one of those affected, pointed out that since early last Monday they have not had electricity and so far the CFE has not resolved the problem.
As reported, more than 10 states in the country – including Yucatán – are in a state of emergency, since high temperatures have exceeded the capacity of the electrical system, causing blackouts and intermittent suspension of the energy supply in different points. from the city.
Today, the residents of the Nueva Kukulcán neighborhood closed both eastern colonies circuit roads, between the sports complex and Plaza Kukulcán, in protest against the lack of electricity in their residential area.
“The CFE told us that it was a matter of time, but this morning we called again and they told us that there is no date for when to address their demands, since there are no resources,” said Francisco Miranda.
The blockade caused problems for vehicular traffic and annoyance for some drivers, who had to look for alternative routes to continue on their way.
On Wednesday night, residents of Cordemex blocked streets for being without electricity for more than 72 hours.
