Mexico received 10.6% more international tourists last March than in the same month of 2023, the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi) reported this Friday.

The main annual rebound occurred in tourists who arrived by air, which in March grew 9.8% year-on-year to exceed 2.47 million people.
While those from the border increased 19.8% to 1.34 million.
On the other hand, last March, total spending by international tourists shot up 11.2% year-on-year, reaching 3,257 million dollars from a previous figure of 2,929 million dollars.
