On social networks, users shared photos of the saturated platforms on line 7 of the CDMX Metro.

Users of the CDMX Metro report that they have been waiting for up to 20 minutes to board a train at the Mixcoac station on line 7 this Tuesday, May 14.
Photographs were shared through social networks showing that the platform is already full. On its ‘X’ account, formerly Twitter, the Collective Transportation System (STC) detailed that the delay on this line is due to the fact that a train was withdrawn for review.
After this, the movement of the trains is speeded up and users are asked to allow the doors to freely close.
“On line 7 towards Barranca del Muerto not a single one passes, but in the opposite direction there are already 5,” a user complained.

Metro line 7 with problems in both directions

However, problems are also for those heading towards El Rosario on the same line. “More than 18 minutes waiting from Mixcoac to Barranca del Muerto and it still doesn’t start,” another passenger complained.

Some users have taken the situation with humor and a meme was even shared that said: “Timmy, if you are watching this, don’t come to line 7.”
Due to the delays on line 7, the complications extend to lines 1, 9 and 12, they report on social networks.

Line 1 also started this day with problems because in the Observatory direction it was stopped for up to 10 minutes.

What are the other CDMX Metro lines with problems this Tuesday?

Another user assured that she has been waiting at the Zaragoza station for up to 20 minutes, “it is already chaos,” she added.

Because the progress of the trains is slow, one person claimed that it took more than 40 minutes to reach Pino Suárez.

On line B towards Buenavista there are sections with delays in some stations, but users assure that after passing San Lázaro, the progress of the trains is fluid.

According to the CDMX Metro, the lines with the greatest demand this Tuesday are 1, 7 and 12, where waiting times range from 5 to 6 minutes, despite the fact that users assure that this information is false because the time minimum is 10 minutes.
