“There are already many businessmen, land owners, who are investing in developing industrial warehouses, which is what we were missing,” he commented. He mentioned that the investments could not reach La Laguna because the industrial spaces were not ready, but only land and the businessmen who wanted to settle do not wait, since the investments are in a hurry and do not wait 12 to 18 months until the warehouse is ready. .
“Specific cases like Sensata, like armor, that require their ships to be customized, with certain specifications, can be expected there,” he indicated.
He pointed out that the Simsa Industrial Park in Gómez Palacio is about to be inaugurated. He said that La Encantada is currently completely full, it only has one reservation left for housing, so they are already looking for land options in Gómez Palacio for a second Encantada, which is an ecosystem, because it has commercial, industrial and housing space.
Here there are 55 hectares, all already signed with companies.
On the other hand, the official mentioned that the investments that were announced upon the return of the Durango government from China, where 31 investments have been signed for the state and 17 would be for La Laguna.
He indicated that this week Yura Mapimí was inaugurated, a harness plant that will benefit the people of this municipality with 800 jobs. Another similar one from Yura, but with electrical wiring and harnesses, in Lerdo, with 900 direct jobs. In Tlahualilo, Major League Industries, which is automotive, will offer 1,500 formal jobs.
He indicated that two more companies will be inaugurated, one of them is a tank truck company, from Ferromex, in Gómez Palacio. Sensata, the semiconductor company that requires 3,140 well-paying jobs, most of them technical, will also be visited.
