Guanajuato.- Libya Denisse García Muñoz Ledo, candidate of the PAN, PRI and PRD for state governor, promised that she will return peace and tranquility to Guanajuato and will be the “governor of security” in her closing campaign at the León stadium.

“As governor I will be tireless because you are my driving force. Therefore, I want to tell you that I will be the governor of security, because we are going to build a Guanajuato with peace and tranquility for all families. Rest assured that Guanajuato will be a safer state,” said Libia Denisse before some 30,000 attendees.
The candidate was received at noon by a batucada in the tunnel where the Club León players leave and before leaving to give her speech she kissed her husband and hugged her two children.
Libya Denisse assured that it is time for women and asked to paint the state blue on June 2 so as not to hand her over to “strangers,” alluding to the Morena candidates.
“Guanajuato is our home and we are not going to leave it in strange hands, we are going to leave it in honest, clean, transparent hands, hands that are here, ready to work for our state,” said the candidate.
Most of the attendees arrived from various municipalities in the state in about 300 trucks that were parked near the stadium and endured as long as they could under the former rays of the sun in a temperature of 36 degrees; but before she finished her speech the popular stands began to empty.
The event was planned for presidential candidate Xóchitl Gálvez to attend, but a day before she announced that she would not attend and would give priority to other states.
