Vemo arrives in Querétaro with five electric stations

Querétaro, Qro. Vemo, a Mexican cleantech, installed five electric charging stations in the entity, to strengthen its charging network for electric and hybrid cars.

According to the firm, the new charging points are strategically located, mainly in commercial areas of the capital.

In this way, the company strengthens the Vemo Charging Network (VCN), which it calls the most robust public charging network in the country.

In these locations, Queretaro residents will be able to recharge their units; It also seeks to influence the adoption of electric vehicles as a clean transportation alternative, the firm reported.

Users will be able to access the chargers through the Watts by VEMO application, where they will locate the charging point, as well as the type of charger, use various payment methods, online support service and monitor charging data.

The head of VCN, Carlos Levy, highlighted that the firm arrives in Querétaro with the purpose of facilitating access to infrastructure for electromobility; In this way, he added, we seek to mitigate emissions, combat climate change and improve air quality.

“We want to contribute to having greener cities by promoting technologies that accelerate the transition to cleaner mobility. With these new charging centers we promote clean mobility while offering world-class charging services,” he declared.

The electric stations are located in the Portal Querétaro shopping center (with four chargers), in Antea Querétaro square (four chargers), in Puerta La Victoria square (six chargers), in Urban Center Jurica (six chargers) and in Urban Center Juriquilla (six chargers).

Until April 2024, VCN integrated more than 500 charging points, a figure that it plans to double this year.

Vemo was founded in 2021, in Mexico City, it is a cleantech that promotes the adoption of clean mobility technologies, through comprehensive solutions that include vehicles, charging infrastructure, technology and data intelligence to manage fleets.
