Durango was chosen by the group with the aim of expanding its presence in the North American electric vehicle market.

Esteban Villegas Villarreal, governor of Durango, inaugurated the new LS e-Mobility Solutions plant in the Durango Logistics and Industrial Center (CLID). This South Korean company has more than 50 years of experience in the production of automotive electrical components.
This project will generate 120 direct jobs in the capital of Durango, strengthening the economy and promoting the electrical/automotive sector.
“With the company LS-E Mobility Solutions, we started talks and quickly came to an agreement for its installation, so far there are 39 direct jobs and it will reach 120 in the first stage (…) We want to put them in “contact with other companies that are coming to Durango, so that they can increase capacity and generate more jobs,” said the state president.
Villegas Villarreal recalled that this year there will be 31 investments that represent an economic benefit of 30 billion pesos and the generation of 26 thousand direct jobs for the people of Durango.
“That had never happened in Durango (…) The idea is that in these 5 years, we can leave a path of constant growth, that is why we are working to attract investments for new generations,” he indicated.
On the other hand, he highlighted that the entity has great talent among young people, who offer qualified labor, which in the future will provide economic growth for the benefit of citizens.
