Two individuals riding a motorcycle shot and killed a heavy machinery businesswoman as they intercepted her while she was driving her truck in the Eliseo Jiménez Ruiz neighborhood in Santa Cruz Xoxocotlán. The State Attorney General’s Office is investigating the case under the femicide protocol.
The incident took place at the intersection of Prolongación de Fiallo and Puerto Escondido in the aforementioned neighborhood, bordering the city of Oaxaca, at 10:00 PM on Friday.
Vannesa Edith R.S., 35 years old, was driving a gray Toyota truck with the state license plate RV-7272 on the mentioned street, a few meters from the company where she worked.
Individuals on a motorcycle intercepted the vehicle and shot the driver before fleeing the scene.
Residents reported the gunshots, prompting police officers to respond to the area and request medical personnel support.
Red Cross paramedics arrived at the location and confirmed the death of the woman in the truck, who had sustained several gunshot wounds.
Gender division personnel from the State Attorney General’s Office took note of the case and are investigating the identity of those responsible.
Investigative agents and forensic experts were dispatched to the scene to collect evidence and secure it, initiating an investigation file for the crime of homicide.
