If you show your inked finger as a sign that you have voted, you can receive free coffee, discounts at fast-food restaurants, and many more offers.
From early in the morning, various establishments welcomed citizens who had already gone to vote and headed to the sites promoting these offers.
Here are some of the offers available to citizens on this election day:
Oxxo is giving away a 360-milliliter Andatti American coffee just for showing your marked thumb. But hurry, as this is limited to the first 100 customers at each branch.
At Carls Jr, there is a 25% discount on individual products when you show that you have voted. The promotion is valid until 8:00 PM.
At Dairy Queen, you get a free mini blizzard with the purchase of any other blizzard.
At Caffenio, there is a free refill of Mexican coffee for the general public; a regular kfreeze refill for 25 pesos, for customers with the Mi Caffenio program.
Starbucks Mexico announced its campaign “We ‘latte’ your commitment to Mexico.” So, customers will enjoy a tall size coffee of the day when presenting their marked finger as proof of having cast their vote in the elections.
