Weekend breathalyzer sanctions 46 drivers in Mazatlán

Preventive actions, not collection, Breathalyzer on its weekend day applied a total of 145 tests to drivers ranging in age from 24 to 54, among them are 12 visitors.

Alfonso Mejía Ramos, General Coordinator of the Breathalyzer Operation reported that 46 women and men tested positive in the breathalyzer test and therefore were sanctioned by the Civic Judge, he added that 42 sober relatives arrived to receive the offender’s vehicle and were able to leave.

On the other hand, Mejía Ramos reported that three people were transferred to cells for not being able to pay the fine on site, he also said that five vehicles of various models and tonnage were towed to the pension’s yards.

On the subject of road accidents, Juan Sergio Camacho Torres, Municipal Traffic Subdirectorate, stated that the elements under his command attended to five road accidents, where three people were injured. He also said that 84 infraction tickets were issued for various reasons that violated the sustainable mobility law.
