What will the temperatures be this Sunday?
For tomorrow, May 19, extreme temperatures are forecast in both states. In Coahuila, maximum temperatures above 45 °C are expected, which represents a significant risk of heat stroke and dehydration. In Durango, maximum temperatures will range between 35 and 40 °C. Although not as extreme as in Coahuila, these temperatures can also be uncomfortable and dangerous without proper precautions.
Furthermore, during the early morning hours, it is expected that minimum temperatures in the mountains of Durango will drop to values between 0 and 5 °C, creating a cool and, in some areas, cold environment. This can lead to light frost conditions in mountainous areas, affecting local agriculture.
