The virtual president-elect, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, traveled with the current president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, on their second big tour together. On this occasion, they arrived in the town of Huatulco, where they got a ‘scary’ shock from an earthquake in the middle of a conference.

At the event ‘Actions for the well-being of Oaxaca’, from Santa María Huatulco, and right during Claudia Sheinbaum’s speech, an earthquake was recorded that was felt by the virtual president, as well as the supporters at the event.

While giving her speech, she stopped for a few moments and then calmed the audience saying that everything was fine.

“Everything has a historical symbol,” said the virtual president-elect.

Through a video shared on social networks by Joaquín López-Dóriga, a ‘hectic’ movement of the images is perceived.

According to information from the National Seismological Service, the magnitude of the earthquake was 4.4, while its epicenter was located 13 kilometers northeast of the Crucecita region, in Oaxaca.
