Progress is being made in reopening the Guaymas-Santa Rosalía route ferries: API-BCS

The Baja California Sur Port Authority held a meeting and supervised the port of Santa Rosalía, in the company of the director of the shipping company TFT Naval, Luis Lozada Vélez, with the objective of verifying the conditions for the opening of the Guaymas, Sonora – Santa Rosalía ferry route in the north of Baja California Sur, announced the Manager of API- Puerto Santa Rosalía, Cesar Humberto Avilés Domínguez.

He explained that during the tour of the port facilities, the multipurpose dock and the ferry ramp were verified, as well as spaces for the administrative and operational offices of the company, a passenger waiting room, ticket office and maneuvering yard, which present the necessary conditions for the start of operation.

In this regard, Avilés Domínguez pointed out that this project will reactivate the economy of the northern region of the state, encouraging tourism development, thereby benefiting various suppliers by transporting their goods from Sonora to the middle peninsula, as well as merchants who need to send products to other parts of Mexico.
