The Culture Secretariat of the State of Querétaro announced the arrival of the 2024 Querétaro Jazz Festival, which will feature international guest artists, as well as more than 50 local artists. This year, as in previous editions, the festival will not be limited to the city of Querétaro alone. Jazz will be heard in the municipalities of Cadereyta de Montes, Ezequiel Montes and Jalpan de Serra. Musical diversity will reach every corner of Querétaro with the participation of local, national and international artists, from countries such as Argentina, Canada, Cuba, the United States and France.
During the four days of the 2024 Querétaro Jazz Festival, visitors to the state will be able to enjoy performances by Señor Swing hot jazz band, Irene Albarrán and Neo Jazz Ensamble, from Mexico City; Edna Nao Cuarteto, from Veracruz; Leysa Reyes Trio, from Cuba; Tato Schab, from Argentina, and Lady Zen (Moser), from the United States. From Querétaro, the Psaltery and Guitar Duet “Tsymbaly”, Mano Goreda, Entre-Cuerdas, Gravity Funk, Tercer Camino, Luigi Marin & T.O.P, Jade, La Delicia de Alicia, Sarabanda Jazz, Kin Kon You, Kiss my jazz septeto & Swing Querétaro, Traffic. Ensamble, Aliba Base, Bogavante and Meraki will perform.
When does the Querétaro Jazz Festival 2024 start?
This long-awaited event will take place from Thursday, July 4 to Sunday, July 7, 2024. Thus, jazz lovers will have the opportunity to enjoy concerts in seven different venues, which include the Plazuela Mariano de las Casas, the Querétaro Arts Center (CEART), the Jardín del Arte, the Jardín Zenea, the City Museum, the Querétaro Museum of Contemporary Art (MACQ) and the Aloft Hotel.
Regarding the venues of the municipalities corresponding to the metropolitan area of Querétaro, it was announced that in Corregidora the concerts will be held at the Tejeda Cultural Development Center and Premium Outlet; in El Marqués, at the Ciudad Maderas Cultural Center; San Juan del Río will offer the concerts at the Portal del Diezmo; and in Tequisquiapan people will be able to go to the Municipal Auditorium to enjoy this festival.
