Mexican Data Center Association and UPQ will collaborate to train new talent

The Mexican Association of Data Centers (MEXDC) will work with the Polytechnic University of Querétaro to train new talent for this productive sector, this before the start of the admission process for the new Data Engineering offered by the institution.

The MEXCD highlighted that the entity is a strategic place for Data Center investment in the country, since it has captured 50% of the large facilities focused on technological and digital infrastructure.

During a masterclass offered by the director of the Mexican Association of Data Centers (MEXDC), Adriana Rivera, she highlighted that Data Engineering is an option in light of the growth of the industry.

“The Data Center industry is very new in Mexico, starting in 2019 it began to develop in Bajío. The existence of a career that is very similar to us as an industry comforts us and commits us to work with the University to train suitable professional teams,” she said.

He stressed that Data Centers encourage companies to use technologies for digital transformation, such as Cloud, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data, Internet of Things and Analytics.
