The tranquility of the night in Mérida was interrupted by a tragic event at a well-known motel in the city, where a body was reported. Authorities have handled the case with great secrecy, but sources indicate it is a violent murder. The incident occurred between 8 and 11 PM yesterday, when a man was allegedly violently murdered inside a room at the motel, located at the intersection of Periférico and Jacinto Canek Avenue, next to the “de Caucel” bridge.
