Elements of the National Guard (GN) discovered unregistered weapons in a corporation barracks in Tepatitlán de Morelos, as well as 48 thousand 820 dollars and 163 thousand 500 pesos in cash.
In the operation, five elements of the National Guard were identified who were carrying dollars, firearms and a 9 mm magazine. In addition, during the search tours, a pink bag containing four pistols was located. The seized weapons include models such as Smith & Wesson Springfield and Browning, among others.
The sources also indicated that there is a suspicion that an inspector, along with other elements, could be involved in activities contrary to the regulations of the National Guard. These actions could constitute the possible commission of crimes, which has generated greater concern within the institution.
Investigation in progress
The authorities have already begun an exhaustive investigation to clarify the facts and determine the responsibility of those involved. The National Guard has reaffirmed its commitment to act with transparency and in strict compliance with the law to guarantee the integrity of the corporation and the safety of citizens.
