If you are a traveler who likes extreme attractions, you surely already know what it feels like to slide down kilometer-long zip lines, ride aerial bicycles, rappel next to a waterfall and explore a canyon. But have you already experienced the highest bungee jump in Mexico?

This exciting experience is located in a picturesque magical town. In addition to an adrenaline rush, you will enjoy a wooded setting, among the mountains.

Where is the highest bungee jump in Mexico?

The highest bungee jump in the entire country was installed in the magical town of Santiago, in Nuevo León, about 40 minutes by car from Monterrey.

This attraction is part of the Hotel Hacienda Cola de Caballo, next to the ecotourism park of the same name, one of the main attractions of this town.

How high is the highest bungee jump in Mexico?

The setting for the highest bungee jump in Mexico is amazing: in the heart of the Sierra Madre Oriental (near Cerro de la Silla), among dense oak and cypress forests, with natural stone canyons and the presence of the famous Cola de Caballo waterfall, about 25 meters high.

To jump, you have to climb onto a metal platform 70 meters high. From above, you can appreciate (if your nerve allows it) the beautiful mountains of Nuevo León and the forests that have turned green again during this rainy season.

The instructors secure you to a lifeline around your waist and with safety points on your ankles. You decide how your great feat will be, whether facing forward or backward. When you are ready, let yourself fall into the void.

Minors can jump, as long as they are accompanied by one of their parents or a guardian.

Consider that, for safety, there are weight restrictions: maximum 110 kilos and minimum 40 kilos.
