The Grape Harvest Festival season in the Querétaro Wine Region continues, this time at the Puerta del Lobo vineyard, located in the municipality of El Marqués; the celebration will take place on August 17 and 18; this was announced by the Tourism Secretariat of the state of Querétaro (SECTUR), through the director of tourism promotion, Rodrigo Ibarra Lozano.
Rodrigo Ibarra, highlighted the grape harvest season as one of the most important for the entity, since, in total, it is expected that nearly 350 thousand people will enjoy these celebrations and generate a little more than 300 million pesos as an economic spillover for the region; and he maintained that Puerta del Lobo is a winery that, in addition to the wine tourism experience, will offer visitors the opportunity to taste excellent cuisine and enjoy unique spaces.
When speaking, the founding partner of this vineyard, Marilú Correa Goyeneche, reported that among the activities of the Harvest Festival there is a small artisan market where around 15 exhibitors participate; in addition to the traditional grape stomping and tastings.
Various experiences are also offered to visitors, such as the exclusive “White and Red”, where you can taste the house wines, cocktails, food and a dessert table. Various workshops are also offered on hat painting and bottle painting, among other activities.
Another special event within the harvest, she reported, is the “Sunset Party”, where attendees can enjoy a great festive atmosphere. Marilú Correa added that they will take advantage of this great celebration to inaugurate their restaurant “Vertical” and for the harvest, a special 10% discount will be offered on lodging in the vineyard’s Glamping and on consumption in the new restaurant.
