What is the low season to travel to Los Cabos?

Every tourist destination has a season in which its costs go down as well as the demand for rooms for lodging, so tourists take advantage of these days to visit popular places.

According to Destinos México, the busiest season in Los Cabos is during the months of October to May; in December people usually spend the holidays in areas where there is warm weather, especially for Christmas and New Year.

However, the highest season in Los Cabos is when there is whale sighting, that is, in the month of May and at the beginning of spring, the date when these mammals reach the coasts of Baja California.

As a result, the low season to visit Los Cabos is in the months of July, August and before the second half of September. During the summer, tourists do not usually travel to Los Cabos, this is due to the rainy season and the high temperatures that are usually recorded in the state.

This does not mean that people do not travel during this time, there is only a considerable decrease in the request for accommodation, demand drops and consequently prices are lower.

While the mid-season begins between the second week of September until October, the month of June is also considered mid-season to visit Los Cabos.
