The La Marea restaurant, located on the Vigía hill in Mazatlán, reopened its doors on Saturday at 10:00 in the morning after remaining closed for five days due to the explosion last Monday.
The temporary closure was due to a mishap with the supply of hydrocarbons by the staff of a gas company.
“On Saturday, from 10 in the morning, we began to receive people, and it is now operating normally,” said a restaurant worker.
During the days of inactivity, the restaurant underwent rehabilitation work necessary to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
These measures were implemented to avoid future inconveniences and guarantee the well-being of the clients and staff of the establishment.
Elements of the State Attorney General’s Office were present at the site in previous days, where they carried out investigations to determine the causes and responsibilities of the incident.
The authorities reviewed the conditions under which the gas supply was carried out and ensured that current regulations were complied with.
