The head of Tourism said that in the state, you can enjoy a rich gastronomy for all tastes and budgets, as well as delicious dishes based on meats, fish, seafood and vegetables typical of the area and other latitudes.

He added: “Among the traditional dishes of Tamaulipas are the exquisite crab, Tampiqueña meat, chochas and enchiladas tultecas, tortas de la barda and tamales de venado.”

You can also mention roast pork, stuffed crab, crab salpicón, pita flower with egg, pemoles, jacubes and mahuacatas, among others.
