When Will the Chile en Nogada Festival Take Place in Mexico City’s Historic Center?
The 2026 Chile en Nogada Festival will arrive in Mexico City’s Historic Center from September 3 to 26, with the participation of various restaurants joining this gastronomic celebration dedicated to one of the most representative dishes of Mexican cuisine.
To make it easier for diners to visit and, at the same time, support the promotion of participating businesses, the Historic Center Authority (ACH) enabled a digital map where visitors can consult the establishments taking part in the festival.
The tool also allows visitors to find useful information for planning their visit, such as the prices of chile en nogada and the service hours of each restaurant.

What Activities Will Take Place at the Chile en Nogada Festival?
As part of the festival’s activities, students from the University of the Cloister of Sor Juana collaborated in compiling more than 50 nogada recipes, which will become part of a digital cookbook. The content will be available for consultation on the official website of the Historic Center Authority (ACH).
The celebration will also include activities for the public, including the sewing course “Create Your Apron From Scratch,” a proposal for those who want to learn how to make their own apron. The workshop will take place on September 5 at 10:00 a.m., on the terrace of the ACH facilities.
The festival will conclude with a special event at the Club de Banqueros de México, where outstanding recipes among the participants will be recognized. The top three places, in addition to receiving recognition, will be awarded for their gastronomic proposals.
