
From September 2 to 8, the 10th edition of Música Antigua will be held, in which dozens of attendees will be able to listen to baroque, renaissance, and medieval music.
According to the organizers, on this occasion they will have as guests musicians from Argentina and Chile, in addition to participants from Mexico City and Monterrey.
The venue for this event is the J.J. Herrera Theater and admission is free, and they will also have alternate venues such as Xico and Naolinco.
The program will feature Música Vitri, music from the 17th and 18th centuries, music from the Renaissance in Spain, and September 8 will be the main event in which the Música Antigua album will be presented.
“The event is from September 2 to September 8 and is at the J.J. Herrera Theater, the main non-profit venue of Música Antigua. We have early music, Renaissance and baroque music, and we have guests from CDMX, Tampico, Monterrey, Argentina, and Chile. They are called a niche audience, but they are very loyal people. The closing event is on Sunday the 8th and it will be very special because the Música Antigua album will be presented.”
