The Public Safety, Preventive Police and Municipal Traffic Department of Los Cabos reported on the closure of roads in the Magisterial neighborhood of the Cabo San Lucas district due to the improvement works of the “Demasías – Constituyentes Dual Lane.”
According to the available information, from August 19 to November 19 of this year, work will be carried out on Constituyentes Street, where the Technical Secondary School No. 16 and the Cabo San Lucas Sports Unit are located. These works will be carried out by the Los Cabos Social Infrastructure Works Trust (FOIS).

Authorities suggest that drivers who travel through the area take extreme precautions and use alternate routes. For those coming from the Brisas sector, and the 4 de Marzo, Auroras and Bugambilias neighborhoods, it is recommended to take Constituyentes Boulevard, Aztecas Street and Camino al Faro Viejo, which will take them to the center of the district.
As for drivers coming from the transpeninsular highway and looking to connect with other parts of the city, they must enter through Demasías de San Cristóbal Street if they are heading to the southwest area of the Sanlúcar district.
It is estimated that these works will last for 120 days. This situation could generate an increase in traffic in the area, especially during rush hour, so it is recommended to take extreme precautions and plan the route in advance.
