The State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) of Colima reported in a press release that an arrest warrant was obtained for the arrest of Carlos Antonio ‘N’ for the acts constituting the crimes of sexual abuse and pornography against a minor that occurred in the municipality of Coquimatlán.
According to the court order, on April 26 of this year, a woman went to the facilities of the Colima Prosecutor’s Office and, on legal representation of her teenage son, reported that he was the victim of the crimes.
Due to these events, the judge issued the arrest warrant against the person responsible, being arrested by agents of the State Police on September 2, 2024, approximately at 4:00 a.m. in the Workers’ colony in the municipality of Colima; he was later made available to the authority that requires him for the corresponding legal proceedings.
Carlos Antonio ‘N’ is the elected mayor of the municipality of Coquimatlán. He won the election with almost 40 percent of the votes. He was sponsored by the PRI and PAN coalition.
