Relics of Saint Jude Thaddeus will tour Campeche

The Diocese of Campeche is preparing to receive the relics of St. Jude Thaddeus, an anticipated event that will take place from September 27 to October 4. The tour will begin in Ciudad del Carmen, where the relics will be venerated in the chapel of St. Jude Thaddeus and then at the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Carmen. The relics will then visit several municipalities, including Candelaria, Escárcega, Champotón and the city of Campeche, with stops at the Cathedral Church and other chapels. The tour will conclude in Calkiní before the relics are delivered to the Diocese of the North in Mérida.

The relics will be available for public veneration day and night, although nighttime visits will be subject to security conditions, due to the presence of a full-size sculpture of St. Jude Thaddeus. The sponsoring company, which has made a significant investment, will guarantee the safety and protection of the relics. The exact details of the route and schedule will be announced shortly through the official channels of the Diocese.
