The Nahual Film Festival is a meeting of Oaxacan cinema without contours or maps, which seeks to conjure up the unpronounceable, always in a foreign and strange construction. This festival is organized by Salón de Cines Múltiples (SACIMU) and has the support of the Mexican Institute of Cinematography (IMCINE) through the program: Fomento al Cine Mexicano (FOCINE).
