The traditional Independence Day ceremony will feature singers and band groups to liven up the festivities in various cities of the Yucatán Peninsula, in free events organized by the authorities.
Below are the details of the ceremonies, schedules, and the artists who will entertain.
Artists in Mérida
In Mérida, on Sunday the 15th, activities will begin at 9 PM with the presentation of entertainers, and at 10:45 PM, the Independence Day ceremony will start, led by Fritz Sierra from the Government Palace. Afterward, Calibre 50 will perform a concert in the Historic Center of the Yucatecan capital.

In this regard, the Public Security Secretariat (SSP), in coordination with the Municipal Police, will arrange road and security operations in the Historic Center of Mérida and surrounding areas to safeguard the integrity of families attending the Independence Day celebrations and the Civic-Military Parade.
Independence Day in Campeche
The Campeche 2024 Patriotic Festival will feature Yuri as the main artist. This was announced by the Government of Campeche through its social media, where they also informed that there will be a Folkloric Ballet from the State Government, Mariachi, and a great Latin fusion.
The event is scheduled for September 15th in the Plaza de la República in Campeche, starting at 8 PM.
Additionally, it was reported that the transportation service in Campeche will extend its hours until 3 AM on Monday, September 16th.
Where to Celebrate in Cancún
In Cancún, the Independence Day ceremony will be held in the Plaza de la Reforma. It will be a family event starting at 10:50 PM. Subsequently, singer Alejandra Guzmán will entertain the event.

There will also be cultural activities, artistic performances, a popular fair, and a spectacular drone show related to the patriotic festivities, replacing traditional fireworks.
Artists in Chetumal
In Chetumal, the Independence Day ceremony will take place at the Government Palace, featuring dance, a musical group, and a fair.
The group K-Paz De La Sierra will be responsible for entertaining the night.
